**DUE TO TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE, THE SHIRDI SAI BABA TEMPLE, EDMONTON WILL REMAIN CLOSED ON JANUARY 20, 2019 AFTER MORNING KAKAD AARTI i.e. FROM 9 AM FOR FULL DAY DUE TO TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE.

THE TEMPLE WILL RE-OPEN ON JANUARY 21ST MORNING (MONDAY) AT 7:00 AM FOR BABA’S ABHISHEKAM to purify and MORNING KAKAD AARTI.

The total lunar eclipse will be in Edmonton Alberta Canada on January 20, 2019 (Sunday) starting from 7:36 pm and ending at 12:48 am of January 21st.

The SUTAK will start from 10:37 am in the morning and during Sutak period, temples are closed and holy idols aren’t to be touched by anyone.

It has been found that during an eclipse, heavenly bodies, particularly the sun and the moon, emit abnormal negative radiations. Thus, the Hindu temples are closed to prevent and minimize these negative radiations that disturb divine energy.
